Easy Start 368
No more "clunk" when the compressor starts. The install was pretty straight forward for my unit (after studying actual wiring and diagrams on Micro-air's webpage). This is supposed to extend the life of the compressor parts - Why don't manufacturers build these into new units already?

Great product at a good price
Water Yacht solutions had the best price on the web with free (and fast) shipping. Product was purchased to reduce startup load on residential AC unit. It cut the load by 40% and it makes the Ac compressor run smoother. It also will assist better startup during power outage when switching to the mobile generator. No more power flickering when AC unit comes on.

Installed on my 4 ton Bryant AC unit with a Locked Rotor Amps (LRA) rating of 124A. After 5 learning runs the peak amperage dropped down to around 26 amps, based on the EasyStart bluetooth app. Package only comes with the unit itself along with a manual. You will need to buy additional connectors (female spade -- blue and yellow) and a butt connector (yellow). The unit did not fit inside my AC unit panel, so I had to mount it outside on a stucco wall. I used a step drill bit for making a hole in the AC panel door, a 1/2" strain relief cord connector (Halex 1/2 in. ACC Non-Metallic Strain Relief Cord Connector) , and 4 wall mounting screws. Water Yacht Solutions had the best final price I could find for this unit. Thank you!

The price was the lowest I found, and the item was received in 3 days. I bought a new generator, but it was unable to start my 3 ton geo-thermal heat pump. After installing the EasyStart, it started easily. Highly recommended.
